Pete Hewitt Woodwork makes contemporary, bespoke, handmade kitchens and furniture out of predominantly Scottish timber using a combination of traditional techniques and modern technology.

He creates clean, robust designs which display the natural beauty of woods such as elm, oak, ash, sycamore and yew, sourcing local hardwoods whenever possible. Pete Hewitt also makes furniture from reclaimed materials. The range of pieces available include kitchens, bookcases, dressers, tables and chairs, as well as smaller items such as boxes, chopping boards and mirrors.

Having graduated from the Glasgow School of Art with a degree in Product Design, Pete Hewitt finessed his woodwork abilities at the Chippendale School of Furniture near Haddington, East Lothian. His workshop is based on the outskirts of his hometown of Edinburgh, Scotland.
